JUNIOR GOLF PASSPORT (MARCH 2017)
I am delighted to announce that our new Junior Golf Passport Program will start on Saturday 4th March. This program is aimed at kids aged between 6 -14 years of age, who are new to golf or of a beginner/novice level.
The program is designed by PGA Professional’s and structured to take a child from a beginner through to an active member of a club. Even if your child has attended previous golf lessons they still may be at a level for this program to be of great benefit to their development.
The programme has 3 key levels: START, LEARN and PLAY.
The START level is all about fun and an elementary introduction to golf.
The LEARN level is a move towards technical instruction through games based learning, always with the emphasis on fun.
The PLAY level teaches the child to apply their learning to the golf course, preparing them for potential club membership and competition.
Access to the golf course and playing golf on a course are important features of the Junior Golf Passport from the START in order to develop a real connection to golf.
As well as having a physical manual to plot their progress, kids can update their progress each week on a dedicated website, where they can keep track of how they are doing and access online resources and games to help them advance their skills and knowledge even when not at the course.

Each of the 3 stages consists of 20 sessions which are split into 2 x 10 lessons with a festival of golf held at session 9 and 19, with the aim to recap, test and improve on everything learnt so far, while making it fun.
Each stage will run for 10 consecutive Saturdays.
Places for the Junior Golf passport are limited to only 16 places, split across 2 groups. More groups may be added if demand is high.
To book a place, please email samsmallwoods@gmail.com. To reserve a spot, a completed registration form, accompanied by the appropriate fee must then be returned within 7 days to guarantee your place. After 7 days the spot will be released if no form/fee is received.
Each 10 week series costs £50, which includes the coaching manual, online profile, wrist band and certificate.
If your child has their own clubs great, if not I have everything they need to get them started.
The times are as follows :
Group 1 (10am till 10.50 am) - 6 to 10 years of age
Group 2 (11am till 11.50am) - 9 to 14 years of age
